Ken pioneered endangered Green Sea Turtle Rescues and personally rescued nearly 50 turtles in the space of just 2 and a half years. These rescues, along with beach clean-ups, Ghost Net recoveries and community activism and education ultimately lead the to the formation of a legitimate marine sanctuary on Oahu’s North Shore, Deep Ecology’s own backyard.
