see jayZ’s question. and the number of those interested..
it takes someone popular to make the causes heard and popular.
wouldnt it be a good thing if muscians and other stars got awards also for volunteering fro social and ecological casues they are involved in.. points for using thier fame to make the world a better place?
how do we make that a part of the award shows?

I think thats an awesome idea. The thing is the comsumer has to want it. See, because then the "stars" will too, so that they can appeal to their money/us/consumer/viewer….
I personly think its tragic that teachers work long hard difficult hours trying to instill all kinds of great things in kids who not only have no apreciation for it, but are vehemently against it….When i was in Highschool, i hated the teachers and started all kinds of chaos and revolts against them. Now, that i look back i only wish that i would have realized, that they prepared me for my future and i gave them hell, now that doesn’t seem like fair wages. I think teachers are among the greatest contibuters to society/its needs and not just to the whole but also to the individual. The point i am trying to make is that, if we actually really cared as a whole, not just individually, then even the "stars" would be as involved as teachers in the sense that they would put as much effort forth, because in my opinion they make little if no effort to help out with any of the situations. Because with the power, money, influence, etc… that they have if they really wanted to make a change then they already would have impacted the world in a awesome way. That fact is, they are full of propaganda, and their own motives. And guess what, we are responsible for letting them get away with it all, because while we bash polititians and rant and rave our political blah blah, we pay the movie stars a handsome sallary, when all the while kids not just in Africa are dying, but kids even in our own neighborhoods….. so in reality whose to blame? Our society in general, not individuals but the whole. But, yes if just one of us really spent our whole entire life and dedicated it completely to making a difference then they could, reguardless of what background they come from or what they look like, talk like, how rich or poor, how lucky or not, because where there is a will there is a way, the plain truth is that we are a society based on and oh yes we thrive on consumption, we think not of others, but of ourselves, that is what has to change. I bet if one person would save up for a year all their money that they would normally use for any form of entertainment, tv, movies, magazines, books, sporting event, shopping when unnesesary etc… i bet that with that money they could help out in a tremendous way. The fact is we would rather sit around and wait for it to happen, we have to make it happen. Did you know that even the poorest of poor people in the USA, are still in the top 10% of the world, as far as wealth and living conditions. Imagine that, even the most impoverished people in the USA could by leaps and bounds impact the lives of people across the globe, if only we really wanted to.
Wow, i know that was long, but my goal in my life is to help people to see the truth, to make a lasting impact on this world… so i hope i can help other people to start caring. Because it starts with us.
For a homeless person (with a computer) I am so glad that you found somewhere to plug your computer and receive the net… Your the luckiest homeless person I have ever heard of.
I don’t think that you should be making fun of other people’s unfortunate circumstances.
